Description

Ingredients

  • lbs flank steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  1. To begin, take a large mixing bowl and combine your olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk all ingredients together until you achieve a well-combined marinade.
  2. Once your marinade is ready, coat the flank steak with it. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for a few hours.
  3. After marinating, heat your grill or skillet to medium-high and cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Once cooked, let the steak rest for approximately 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
