- 1½ lbs flank steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
Instructions
- To begin, take a large mixing bowl and combine your olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Whisk all ingredients together until you achieve a well-combined marinade.
- Once your marinade is ready, coat the flank steak with it. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate for a few hours.
- After marinating, heat your grill or skillet to medium-high and cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, let the steak rest for approximately 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
