Description

These Cranberry & Cream Cheese Puff Pastry Blossoms are a perfect sweet treat for holiday gatherings with a flaky exterior and creamy filling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce
  • Zest of ½ an orange
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This high heat will ensure your puff pastry rises beautifully and turns that perfect golden brown. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Take the thawed puff pastry and roll it out on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick, then cut into 9 equal squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cranberry sauce, orange zest, and honey until smooth.
  4. Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese filling in the center of each pastry square and fold the corners towards the center to form a blossom shape.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
