Description

This Creamy Seafood Spinach Dip is not just a recipe; it’s a versatile dish that brings people together for enjoyable moments.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2½ cups chopped spinach
  • ½ lb raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz crab meat
  • ¼ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onion
  • ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ¼ tsp lemon pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded Muenster cheese (divided)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ⅓ cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp garlic paste (or minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Start your culinary journey by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayo. Stir in the chopped green onion, Old Bay seasoning, lemon pepper, shredded mozzarella, and half of the shredded Muenster cheese.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté until they start to soften. Then, throw in the raw shrimp and cook for about one minute.
  4. Add the sautéed shrimp and crab meat to your spinach-cheese mixture.
  5. Transfer your well-mixed dip into an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle the remaining Muenster cheese over the top.
  6. As a final touch, set your oven to broil and keep a close eye on your dip for another 30–60 seconds.

Notes
