Description

Indulge in a decadent treat with this rich and creamy cheesecake topped with salted caramel and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzle)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
  • Extra chocolate chips (for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with melted butter and press into a greased springform pan to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
  3. Beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add in vanilla extract and beaten eggs one at a time.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and pour half of the cheesecake batter over the crust. Drizzle ¼ cup of caramel sauce on top, then add the remaining batter.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely.
  6. Drizzle extra caramel and sprinkle sea salt on top before chilling for at least 4 hours.
  7. Serve slices with caramel sauce and whipped cream on top.

Notes

You can prepare this cheesecake a day in advance to improve flavor and texture. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
