Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep the Oven & Pastry: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pastry until it’s about ⅛ inch thick.
  2. Sauté the Spinach: Heat olive oil, add chopped spinach, and sauté for 1–2 minutes until wilted.
  3. Add the Filling: Spread sautéed spinach over the pastry, sprinkle feta, and brush edges with water.
  4. Fold & Cut: Fold pastry in half over filling, press edges to seal, and slice into strips.
  5. Twist & Arrange: Twist each strip 2–3 times and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake to Perfection: Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with spices, and bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

Make sure the puff pastry is completely thawed before rolling it out for the best results.
