Description
This Potsticker Stir Fry is a delightful, speedy meal that mixes bold flavors and textures all in one pan.

- 10–12 frozen potstickers or gyoza
- 1 large carrot, thinly sliced on the bias
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 4–5 white mushrooms, sliced
- 20 green beans, cut into thirds
- 1 cup small broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
- ¼ cup water
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and cold water to create a slurry. Once mixed, add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar or honey, and grated ginger. Whisk all these ingredients together until smooth and set the bowl aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil along with the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the frozen potstickers in a single layer in the skillet. Allow them to brown for 3 to 4 minutes without moving them. Once golden, pour the ¼ cup of water into the pan and immediately cover it with a lid, letting the potstickers steam for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced mushrooms and diced onion, sautéing them for about 3 to 4 minutes until they turn golden brown and fragrant. Add the remaining sesame oil and toss in the broccoli florets, cooking them for 3 to 4 minutes until they’re just tender. Add in the chopped green beans and thinly sliced carrots, cooking for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until they are crisp-tender. Finally, return the sautéed mushrooms and onions to the skillet.
- Reintroduce the cooked potstickers back into the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over all the ingredients and gently stir to coat everything thoroughly. Allow the stir fry to cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, stirring gently until the sauce thickens slightly.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the thickness of the sauce by adding more or less cornstarch, based on your preference.
