Description

This Ground Beef and Spinach Skillet with Feta is a perfect weeknight meal combining hearty beef, fresh spinach, and creamy feta for a quick and nutritious dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by heating the olive oil in your skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté them for about 3-4 minutes until they become aromatic and translucent.
  2. Next, add the ground beef to the pan, using your wooden spoon to break it up as it cooks. Allow it to cook for 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Now it’s time to stir in the fresh spinach. Sprinkle in the dried oregano and paprika, along with salt and pepper to taste. Cook everything together for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from the heat once the spinach has wilted and the flavors meld. Generously sprinkle the crumbled feta over the mixture.

Notes

Make sure to use high-quality feta cheese for best flavor. This dish is also great for meal prep!
