Description
This Ground Beef and Spinach Skillet with Feta is a perfect weeknight meal combining hearty beef, fresh spinach, and creamy feta for a quick and nutritious dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by heating the olive oil in your skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté them for about 3-4 minutes until they become aromatic and translucent.
- Next, add the ground beef to the pan, using your wooden spoon to break it up as it cooks. Allow it to cook for 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Now it’s time to stir in the fresh spinach. Sprinkle in the dried oregano and paprika, along with salt and pepper to taste. Cook everything together for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat once the spinach has wilted and the flavors meld. Generously sprinkle the crumbled feta over the mixture.
Notes
