Description

Garlic Butter Lamb Chops are the perfect culinary delight that combines incredible flavor with simplicity in preparation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 lamb loin chops
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (or ghee)
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Instructions

  1. Start by removing the lamb chops from the refrigerator and letting them sit at room temperature for about 20–30 minutes.
  2. Once the lamb chops have reached room temperature and are patted dry, it’s time to season them generously.
  3. Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot. Place the lamb chops upright on their fat edge and let them sear for about 5 minutes.
  4. After the fat side is beautifully seared, lay the chops flat in the skillet. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
  5. Once the chops are browned, lower the heat to medium-low. Carefully spoon out any excess fat from the skillet, keeping just a thin layer.
  6. Once finished, transfer the seared lamb chops to a plate and pour the remaining garlic thyme butter over them.

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs rather than dried for a more vibrant flavor.
